Craniosacral Therapy

What is it?

Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a form of bodywork intended to relieve pain and tension by gentle manipulations of the skull regarded as harmonizing with a natural rhythm in the central nervous system.

Craniosacral  therapy may also apply light touches to a patient's spine and pelvic bones.

By complementing the body's natural healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease.

What conditions can it help?

Craniosacral therapy may be effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction, including:

  • Headaches
  • Concussions and Traumatic Brain Injuries
  • Neck and Back Pain
  • Joint Pain
  • Chronic Fatigue
  • Emotional Difficulties
  • Stress and Tension-Related Problems
